Each week, 20 contestants compete in a series of challenges in an attempt to win £10,000. These challenges are based in large pools of water or mud and generally involve large assault courses that participants must cross.

All Star Family Fortunes
2006The second series of All Star Family Fortunes began on ITV on 27 October 2007. It ran for ten weeks and aired every Saturday night, with the exception of the last two episodes which aired on 25 December 2007 and 5 January 2008 respectively. Although the final episode of the series aired in 2008, it can still be counted as part of the 2007 series.

La voz
2011La Voz... México is a reality show and singing competition based on the format of The Voice originated in the Netherlands and part of the international franchise The Voice created by television producer John de Mol. Mexico is the first Spanish-speaking country to adapt this format and the first among 6 globally. The show began its first season on September 11, 2011, under the production of Televisa executive producer Miguel Angel Fox. The series' first episode scored a rating of 28.2/47.1, surpassing Spanish-language TV series La Academias rating of 9.6/17. The second season began on September 9, 2012 as scheduled, though was slightly delayed before the airing of its final episode due to the death of judge Jenni Rivera, who died in a plane crash in Iturbide, Nuevo León on December 9, 2012, dedicating an entire episode as a tribute to the late singer.

2000Chcete být milionářem? was a Czech game show based on the original British format of Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?. The show was hosted by Vladimír Čech, Ondřej Hejma and Martin Preiss. The main goal of the game was to win 10 millions Czech korunas by answering 15 multiple-choice questions correctly. There were 3 lifelines - fifty fifty, phone a friend and ask the audience. The game show was shown on the Czech TV station TV NOVA. When a contestant got the fifth question correct, he left with at least 10,000 CZK. When a contestant got the tenth question correct, he left with at least 320,000 CZK. Nobody won the main prize. The show was later renamed to Milionář.

2008American Gladiators is an American competition TV show that aired on NBC and Citytv in Canada. Hosted by Hulk Hogan and Laila Ali, the show matches amateur athletes against each other and the show's own "gladiators" in contests of strength, agility, and endurance. It is a remake of the original series of the same name which ran from 1989–1996, with elements of the UK version of the 1990s. The show is refereed by Al Kaplon, a former American League umpire, who can also be seen as the referee in Dodgeball: A True Underdog Story. Play-by-play narration is handled by Van Earl Wright.
