Icons
2002Icons was a documentary TV show on G4 that originally focused on significant people, companies, products, history, and milestones in world of video games. It was relaunched in 2006 and focused entirely on pop culture. It was cancelled soon afterwards. On May 10, 2006, it was announced that Icons was relaunching on June 3 with an episode focusing on J.J. Abrams. The show will feature a broader scope on things and people "men 18–34 care about, admire and emulate." Future episodes would focus on Marc Ecko, The Onion, and Family Guy. This change in format had been suspected, due to the recent episodes about George A. Romero, Frank Miller and the history of the King Kong franchise. The classic video game themed episodes continued to air on the network sporadically until 2008, under the new name of Game Makers.
When Games Attack
UnknownWhen Games Attack was a British television show, that originally aired on Bravo from 2004 to 2005. The show was created and presented by Dominik Diamond in conjunction with Jonny Ffinch with whom he had previously worked on GamesMaster. Its main focus was video games.

2020Kaede Honjou is invited by her friend Risa Shiramine to play a virtual reality MMO game with her. While Kaede doesn't dislike games, what she really, truly dislikes is being in pain. She creates a character named Maple, and decides to put all her points in VIT to minimize pain. As a result, she moves slowly, can't use magic, and even a rabbit can get the best of her. But as it turns out, she acquires a skill known as "Absolute Defense" as a result of her pumping points into VIT, as well as a "Counter Skill" that works against special moves. Now, with her ability to nullify all damage, she goes on adventures.
Dofus: The Treasures of Kerubim
2013Dofus: The Treasures of Kerubim, is an animated series set in the world of the Dofus MMORPG. Unlike its sister series, Wakfu, there is no great overarching adventure to be had, nor any powerful villain to thwart. In fact, the central premise of the series is that all of Kerubim's adventures are already over. Instead, most episodes are about the eponymous character regaling his adopted grandson with tales about his adventures when he was younger, usually based around a trophy of some sort that he gained from it.
